You may be asking yourself why 420wear? For us: we raced for a long time and never had to buy cycling clothes -the benefits of being sponsored riders – and therefore were blessed with never having to think about what to wear. Well, those days are long gone and, honestly, the clothes on the market are straight lame. We found ourselves paying upwards of $140 for a quality pair of bib shorts, $100 for a quality jersey and that was too much to pay for ugly shit. Period. The other option was buying bargain basement clothes that only belong on the trainer in the basement. So, instead of buying cheap ass garbage that falls apart at the seams and smells like donkey ass after 3 washings, we designed our own clothes, top notch clothes – well not the clothes but the design is ours anyway. For you we can think of many reasons: if you are here, well, . . . . . we’ll just call you curious, you ride a bicycle and don’t want to look like a dork (if that is in fact possible), if white is the new black then black has to be the new white and no one wants to be out of fashion and 420wear is, yup, black AND white and therefore suitable for all seasons and always “in”; oh, and this season we have thrown a splash of green on the kit to get more, um, in character. And, lastly, why the hell not.
